He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Taylor Bryant; his parents, Leamon Bryant and Estelle Bryant; and his sisters, Leta Mae Farrer and Edna Carroll.
He is survived by: his sons, Dennis Bryant of Spring Hope, Mark Bryant (Lou Jean) of Spring Hope, Ed Taylor (Susan) of Rocky Mount, Bob Taylor (Debbie) of Nashville, Gene Taylor of Nashville and Haston Taylor (Shawn) of Rocky Mount; his grandchildren, Alan, Hannah, Jacob, Andrew, Mollie, Jennifer and Fred; and his brother Wallace "Tom" Bryant of Spring Hope. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
