Merle Cale Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Merle Cale of Spring Hope, North Carolina, who passed away on September 16, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Odie Cale and Belva Parker Cale; his wife Carolyn Cale; his children, Teresa Watkins and Ryan T. Cale; and his sister Ruth Parker.

He is survived by: his son William Cale (Peggy) of Smyrna, NC; and his grandchildren, Anna Munna, Ryan Watkins and William Cale, Jr.. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to First Baptist Church at 111 N. Walnut Street, Spring Hope, NC 27882.
