She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Brantley; her sister Shirley Burnette; and her parents, Preston Overman and Alma Ferrell Overman. She is survived by: her children, Sheri Sammons of Wilson and William Sammons (Gigi) of Knightdale; her stepchildren, Kathy Brantley of Wilson and Chris Brantley (Joyce) of Parker, CO; her sisters, Pat Pierce of Rocky Mount, Wanda Overman and Carole LaChance of Canada; her granddaughters, Sydney Sammons and Piper Sammons of Knightdale; her stepgrandchildren, Laura Brantley of Denver, CO, Mark Brantley (Stephanie) of Charlotte and Greg Brantley (Emma) of Florida; and her stepgreat-grandson James Brantley.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the First Baptist Church (111 N Walnut St, Spring Hope, NC 27882). Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
