With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ann Bland of Spring Lake, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Watson Blalock and Ethel Bell Blalock; her husbands, Frank McArtan and Douglas Bland; her sisters, Betty Parker Dunn and Pauline Goddard; and her friend Jerrie Palmer.
She is survived by: her children, Hugh "Tony" McArtan and Teresa McArtan Hunt (Tim); her grandchildren, Brian Salmon, Heather Salmon, Jessica McArtan, Krystle Howell (Jason) and Kaci Headley (Arron); her great grandchildren, Ronin Salmon, Ava Hunt and Kaysen Headley; her sisters, Nancy Cook and Lynda Griffith (Malcolm); and her nieces and nephews, Ronald Parker, Alan Paker (Connie), Stephen Cook (Tannen), Tara Kendrick (Eric) and Tracy Posner (Jonathan). She is also survived by many great-nieces, great nephews, extended family.
