It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Aubrey Elmer Gaddis (Spring Lake, North Carolina), who passed away on December 31, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Tilman Gaddis and Elmer B. Gaddis; his sons, Tom Gaddis, Richard Gaddis and Daniel Gaddis; and his siblings, Annalee Chambless, Marene Maness and Thomas Gaddis.
He is survived by: his wife Joann Hudson Gaddis; and his daughters-in-law, Susan Sherman Gaddis of Asheville, NC, Gina Gaddis of Lumber Bridge, NC and Tracee Warren (Richard) of Lake City, Florida. He is also survived by several grandchildren, one niece, nephews.
