She is survived by: her children, Jena Shipman (Pastor David), Jamita Davis (Ronald), Cara-Lynn Birts (Rick) and Jimmie Birts III; her grandchildren, Jaron Davis, Joshua Davis, Cailyn Birts, Kean Shipman, Janiya Birts, Jayshaun Birts and Kashton Birts; and her sisters, Althea Wharton (Malcolm) of Newport News, VA, Dr. Glenda Farmer (Jerome) of Fayetteville, NC and Pamela Marks (Michael) of Fayetteville, NC.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Herring Funeral Care & Cremations (2720 Murchison Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Williams Chapel Church (458 Chapel Hill Rd, Spring Lake, NC 28390).
