She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyston Taylor and Mary Baker; her stepfather Charles Baker; her husband Charlie Smith; her brother Marvin Taylor; her daughter Melissa Hawkins; and her grandson Brandon Barlup.
She is survived by: her children, Brandy West (Jason) and Bobby Ray Taylor (Cathy); her grandchildren, Heather Barlup, Emily Conley, Scott Matthews, Sadeya Tripp, Akira Stone, Preston Hawkins, Craig Hawkins, Aliya Garner, Blaine Everette and Addison Everette; her siblings, Marshall Taylor (Joan), Patricia Knight (Mike), Debra Taylor and Tammy Stoudenmire (Bill); and her stepsiblings, Tammy Milks, Gail Carter and Mark Baker. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
