He is survived by: his wife Veronica McIver; his children, VeRonda McIver of Columbia and John McIver, III of Glen Burnie, MD.; and his siblings, Mary M. Edwards (Leo) of Spring Lake, Carolyn Cooper of Spring Lake, Michele McIver of Spring Lake and Christopher McIver of Spring Lake.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bethel AME Zion Church (458 Chapel Hill Rd, Spring Lake, NC 28390). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
