He was predeceased by: his wife Hildegard Stern; his children, Edward Stern and Arelette Nordstrom; and his parents, Elbert Stern and Dorthea Stern.
He is survived by: his son Alex J. Stern (Min C. Stern); his daughter-in-law Dolores Stern; his grandchildren, Rosalie (Miller Glen), Edward Jr. (Ashley) and Elena (Brock Hayden); and his great grandchildren, Micaiah, Jaelyn, Matthew, Jaeda, Naomi, Jaesten, Haeley and Connor. He is also survived by three sisters and one brother.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to Glenwood Animal Hospital in Lester's memory.
