He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Lambert Peele, Sr. and Dorothy Gertrude Peele (McPherson); and his wife Janice Elaine Peele (Dallas). He is survived by: his sons, Jonathan Maurice Peele of Spring Lake and Christopher Shaw Peele (Marie Elizabeth Logue) of New Hill; and his sister Nina Ann Peele of Starkville, Mississippi. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, his family encourages memorial gifts to Camp Ground United Methodist Church.
