With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Shannon Marie McElveen of Spring Lake, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Shannon left this world on June 21, 2025 at the age of 36, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father James Robert McElveen. She is survived by: her mother Doris Jean Champion Callis; her stepfather Robert Henry Herbert; her sister Amanda Tribble (Tom) of Shallotte, NC; her nieces and nephews, CJ Inman, Robert Steven McElveen, Alexander Jacob McElveen, Selena Anglin and Katelyn Danielle Inman; and her pets, Scooter and Hersey.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Calvary Church (185 Calvary Church Rd, Sanford, NC 27330). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial gifts be made in memory of Shannon to Smith Funeral Home, PO Box 370, Broadway, NC 27505 to assist with funeral expenses.
