He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Borland and Mildred Borland. He is survived by: his wife Margaret LaVerne Borland; his children, Jesse Lee Borland (Regina) of Wade, NC, Kimberly Borland Young (Kim Edward Young) of Cameron, NC and Stephanie Melissa Newton of Fayetteville, NC.; his stepchildren, Chris Riggs of Summerfield, NC and Darrel Farmer (Debbie) of Laurel Springs, NC.; and his grandchildren, Christian, Britney, Janet, Rachele, Heather, Elizabeth, Calista, Jaimie, Leah and Darrin. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Harmony Baptist Church Building Fund, 3566 NC Hwy 210 South, Bunnlevel, NC 28323 .
