We bid farewell to Barbara Braswell (Spruce Pine, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 2, 2025 at the age of 84. Barbara touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam McKinney and Irene Wyatt McKinney; her husband Carl Braswell; her siblings, Shirley Hall, June Burleson, Albert and Phillip McKinney; and her grandson Daniel Braswell.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Braswell of Stokesdale, NC, Danny Braswell of Spruce Pine, Carl Wade Braswell of Virginia Beach, VA and Ora Dennis of Bakersville. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, several great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
