With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bob Glenn of Spruce Pine, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 16, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Howard Glenn and Addie Willis Glenn; and his sister Roberta Glenn Moore (Jim). He is survived by: his daughter Alice C. Glenn; his grandchildren, Boyd Glenn, Amanda Yelton, Vance Glenn (Claire) and Andy Glenn (Jelinda); his great grandchildren, Ayden Coleman, Malorie Glenn, Jessica Dunn (Hunter), Jacob Yelton (Ninevah), Sierra Bryant (Stephen), Peyton Greene, Christian Glenn, Savannah Miller (Caleb), Ashley Fox (Tim), Blake Glenn (Bethany) and Allison Rowe (Chris); and his siblings, Mary Ann Unferth (Bill), Carolyn Cordell and Gene Glenn (Pam).
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Liberty Hill Baptist Church (241 Hoot Owl Rd, Spruce Pine, NC 28777). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
