She was predeceased by : her parents, Monroe Thomas and Maude Trivett Thomas; her daughter Lisa Lynn Honeycutt; and her siblings, Dennis, Sammy Thomas and Janice Thomas.
She is survived by : her daughter Teresa Gortney (Tim) of Spruce Pine; her granddaughter Savannah Atkins (Josh) of Bakersville; her great grandchild Bailey Atkins; her siblings, Kenny Thomas (Mary Jo) of Newland, Wayne Thomas (Stella) of Spruce Pine, Rev. Tommy Thomas (Mary) of Spruce Pine, Rev. Donnie Thomas (Susan) of Spruce Pine and Diane Garland of Spruce Pine; and her sisters-in-law, Pam P. Thomas of Spruce Pine and Pam O. Thomas of Spruce Pine. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Gouges Creek Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
