In loving memory of Charles Byrd (Spruce Pine, North Carolina), who departed this world on April 18, 2024 at the age of 83. Charles leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father Sam; and his brother Bobby Byrd. He is survived by : his wife Laura Jane Hollifield Byrd of Spruce Pine; his sons, Jeff Byrd of Spruce Pine and Bradley Byrd (Sherri) of Spruce Pine; his grandchildren, Ashley Sivert (Casey), Kaitlyn Butz, Chad, Thomas and Willard Byrd; and his brother Ronnie Byrd of Spruce Pine. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Webb Funeral Home Chapel (128 Roan Rd, Spruce Pine, NC 28777). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

Flowers will be accepted and appreciated or memorial donations may be made to the Gideons.
