We bid farewell to Dean Gouge (Spruce Pine, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 12, 2025 at the age of 70. Dean touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As Dean departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Dean may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Dean leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Gouge and Marie Young Gouge. He is survived by: his wife Donna Holland Gouge; his daughters, Deanna Gouge of Bakersville and Katie McKinney (Andrew) of Bakersville; and his grandchildren, Holland, Charlotte, Reuben and Eleanor.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Webb Funeral Home (128 Roan Rd, Spruce Pine, NC 28777). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location.
