With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Sullins (Spruce Pine, North Carolina), who passed away on December 30, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Duncan and Minnie Buchanan Duncan; her husband Roland Sullins; her grandson Scott Franklin; and her siblings, Glennie Sparks, Anna Buchanan, Dennis, Eugene, Donald and Adam Duncan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sarah Sullins of Spruce Pine, Susan Gardin (Bryan) of Spruce Pine and Sabra Sullins of Spruce Pine; her grandchildren, Regina Gardin, Amy Reece (Donnie), Melissa Conner (Allen) and Greg Franklin; her great grandchildren, Alex May (Macy), Tyler Gardin and Blake May; her great great grandchildren, Charlotte May and Maverick May; and her sisters-in-law, Wanda Thomas and Maxine Duncan.
