She was predeceased by: her parents, Talmadge Wilson and Elizabeth Allen Wilson; and her brother Tommy Wilson. She is survived by: her husband Rev. John Fowler; her children, Stephen Fowler of Spruce Pine, NC, Phillip Fowler (Holly) of Fuquay-Varina, NC and Cat Sweetland (Seth Coffrin) of Bainbridge Island, WA; her grandchildren, Harrison Fowler, Theo Coffrin, Savannah Fowler and Chloe Coffrin; and her siblings, David Wilson of Wilmington, NC and Martha Lou Luce (Jon) of Lakeland, FL..

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Spruce Pine United Methodist Church (11090 NC-226, Spruce Pine, NC 28777). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
