Elizabeth Waycaster Wise Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elizabeth Waycaster Wise (Spruce Pine, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 5, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Waycaster and Margaret McKinney Waycaster; and her siblings, Barbara Robinson and David Waycaster. She is survived by: her husband Delmar Gene Wise of Spruce Pine; her son Rodney Wise; her grandson Kaiden Wise of Spruce Pine; her brother Paul Waycaster (Sondra) of Spruce Pine; and her close friends, Candi, Ricky Hall and Lela Rhyne.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mt. Calvary Freewill Baptist Church (86 State Rd 1101 #1101, Spruce Pine, NC 28777). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
