He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Campbell and Lucille Ross Campbell; his son Joe R.'Rock'Campbell; and his siblings, Ben, Billy Campbell and Bobbi Sue Lanford.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine McKinney Campbell; his daughter Branda Campbell of Taylors, SC; his grandchildren, Amber and Travis; his sister-in-law Irene Poteat of Hickory; and his sibling's children, Cody James Hinkle, Scott McKinney, Donnie Lanford, Darrell Lanford and Debbie Foster.
