It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louise Robinson of Spruce Pine, North Carolina, who passed away on October 8, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Higgins and Florence Silvers Higgins; her husband Herman Robinson; her siblings, Joann Ayers, Bobby, James and Tommy Higgins; her son Charlie Briggs; and her son-in-law Larry Freeman.
She is survived by: her daughter Donna Freeman of Spruce Pine; her daughter-in-law Jonnie Briggs of Burnsville; her grandchildren, Charlie Briggs, Dawn Pendland, Jarret, Jacob and Jodi Freeman; and her siblings, Sammy Higgins (Nina) of Burnsville, Buddy Higgins (Emma) of Barnardsville and Adaline Owenby (Boyce) of Weaverville. She is also survived by 3 Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM and from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Yancey Funeral Service (378 Charlie Brown Rd, Burnsville, NC 28714).
