It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louise Robinson of Spruce Pine, North Carolina, who passed away on October 8, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Higgins and Florence Silvers Higgins; her husband Herman Robinson; her siblings, Joann Ayers, Bobby, James and Tommy Higgins; her son Charlie Briggs; and her son-in-law Larry Freeman.
She is survived by: her daughter Donna Freeman of Spruce Pine; her daughter-in-law Johnnie Briggs of Burnsville; her grandchildren, Charlie Briggs, Dawn Penland, Jarrett, Jacob and Jodi Freeman; and her siblings, Sammy Higgins (Nina) of Burnsville, Buddy Higgins (Emma) of Barnardsville and Adelene Owenby (Boyce) of Weaverville. She is also survived by 3 Great-Grandchildren.
