She was predeceased by: her parents, John Earley and Mamie Earley; her husband Claude "Max" Cabe; her daughter Sarah Hilliard; her siblings, Ed Earley, Jack Earley, Steve Earley, Mildred McDowell, Pearl Teem and Jane Taylor; and her sons-in-law, Mickey Hilliard and Reid Gouge.
She is survived by: her children, Paulette Gilley (Henry) of Burnsville, Sandra Cabe (Randy) of Spruce Pine and Billy Maxwell Cabe (Olga) of Spartanburg, SC; her grandchildren, Travis Garland (Heather), Josh Garland, Ryan Cabe (Shannen), Jackson Cabe, Bill Gilley (Crystal), Shanna Hensley (Chadd), Janet Zeqharr (Earl), Jennifer Rivera and Maggie Benge (Matthew); and her siblings, Willa Mae Gregory and Jerry "Buck" Earley. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
