With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie Young of Spruce Pine, North Carolina, who passed away on August 14, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her father Bryson Buchanan; her siblings, Lucy Silvers, Margaret Davis, Gentry Buchanan, Creston Jim Buchanan and J. B. Buchanan; her stepdaughter-in-law Donna Young; and her stepgrandson Brian Young.
She is survived by : her husband Billy Young; her siblings, Rometta Dean and Martin Buchanan; her stepchildren, R. L. Hoilman, Wade Bowman, Johnny Young, Shirley Carver and Debbie Smith; and her stepgrandchildren, Tammy Hoilman, Paula Holtsclaw, Jessica Smith, Jonathan Young and J. T. Smith. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and step great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the Bear Creek Baptist Church Building Fund in honor of Marie.
