He is survived by: his mother Vonda Webb of Bakersville; his wife Dema Selena Gough Buchanan; his children, Garrett Buchanan of Burnsville, Blaze Buchanan (Santana) of Spruce Pine, Zachary Buchanan of Newland, Mark Buchanan (Kenzie) of Spruce Pine and Kellie Byrd (Trenton) of Spruce Pine; his nephew Jonathon Buchanan of Spruce Pine; and his siblings, Missy Griffith (Ricky) of Spruce Pine, Sarah Boggs of Hickory and Daniel Buchanan of Spruce Pine.
