She was predeceased by : her parents, Melvin Beam and Pearl Childress Beam; her son Marcus Huskins; her great grandchild Harper Grace Richardson; and her siblings, Parker, Ralph, Billy Beam, James Vaughn, Betty Denton, Nancy Pendley, Katie Beam and Laura Hicks.
She is survived by : her children, Melvin Huskins (Sherrie) of Spruce Pine and Mavis Parsley (Mike); her sister Martha Biddix of Spruce Pine; her sister-in-law Ida Beam of Spruce Pine; her grandchildren, Matthew Huskins, Arielle Richardson, Mariah Parsley, Alyssa Huskins and Alison Huskins; her great grandchildren, Aubrey Huskins, Elijah Huskins, Amelia Richardson, Liam Henry and Fae Henry; and her niece Mildred. She is also survived by Nana' to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
