She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Pritchard and Annie Ollis Pritchard; her husband Rev. Luther Carver; her children, Robin Carver Austin, Benji and David Carver; her great grandchild Izzy Carver; and her siblings, Fostina McGuire, Mart Jackson, Gerald and Boston Pritchard.
She is survived by: her son Rev. Tommy Carver (Karen); her children-in-law, Larry Austin (Ginny) and Lorene Carver Profitt; her grandchildren, Shasta Smith (Kent), Rev. Cameron Carver (Deidra), Tiffaie Carver, Lucus Carver (Kim), Rev. Remington Austin (Maggie), Maverick Austin (Kendal), Marlee Austin and Briley Austin; her great grandchildren, Jaxson Smith, Saylor Smith, Holland Austin, Finn Carver, Remi Rose Austin and Elin Carver; and her siblings, Lueretta Shook and Hill Pritchard. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church (12021 US-19E, Spruce Pine, NC 28777). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
