Richard Jarrett Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 7, 2025, at the age of 81, Richard Jarrett (Spruce Pine, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Jarrett and Marie Pitman Jarrett; his grandson Joshua Dalton Jarrett; and his brother Phillip Jarrett. He is survived by: his wife Nora Nell Jarrett; his children, Richie Jarrett (Regina) of Bakersville and Shelly McIntosh (Scott) of Johnson City, TN; his sister Alice Grindstaff of Bakersville; and his grandchildren, Dylan Jarrett, Luke McIntosh and Kyndal McIntosh.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Freedom Baptist Church (1353 Roan Rd, Spruce Pine, NC 28777). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
