He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Sparks and Mary Lee Biddix Sparks; and his siblings, David, Danny, Kenneth, Marietta and Patricia.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Morris Sparks; his daughters, Lori Jones (Rick) and Kristie Ollis (Danny); his stepgrandson Tucker Jones; and his brothers, Jimmy Sparks (Juanita) and Dennis Sparks (Della). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Webb Funeral Home (128 Roan Rd, Spruce Pine, NC 28777). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
