He was predeceased by : his parents, John Miller and Ruby Parker Miller; and his wife Virginia Miller. He is survived by : his children, Rodney Miller (Michelle) of Marion and Jennifer DiRisio (Vincent) of Gray, TN; and his grandchildren, Ariel, Skylar, Trey, Tiffany and Taylor.

A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Liberty Hill Baptist Church (289 Hoot Owl Rd, Spruce Pine, NC 28777).
