We are sad to announce that on June 19, 2023, at the age of 85, Ted R. Vance (Spruce Pine, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Jasper Vance and Ella Vance of Newland; his daughter Deranda Vance; his siblings, Georgie Lee Prather of Newland, Sue Vance of Morganton, Vida Carpenter of Newland and MacArthur Vance of Newland; and his nephews, Michael Vance of Newland and David Piercy of Morganton.
He is survived by : his daughter Vickie Vance (Tommy Smith) of Morganton; his granddaughter Cara Holley (Ian Gilliam) of Morganton; his siblings, Brenda Clements (Don) of Rutherford College, Joe Vance (Linda) of Morganton and Hayden Vance (Rosalie) of Newland; his brother-in-law Eddie Piercy of Morganton; and his great grandchildren, Peyton and Dawson Smith. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
