He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Gird Biddix and Martha Stamey Biddix; his former wife Doris Jill Biddix; and his siblings, Robert Pitman, Lewis Pitman, Hubert Biddix, Hobart Biddix, Joyce Carpenter, Lois McKinney and Iris Sparks.
He is survived by: his wife Linda McKinley of Spruce Pine; and his son Dewayne Biddix of Spruce Pine. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
