He is survived by: his mother Alma Silvers Atkins; his wife Shannon Pearson Atkins; his children, Jacob Atkins (Erin), Josh Atkins (Savannah), Natalie Smith (Travis) and Kolton Atkins (Amanda); his grandchildren, Bailey, Charlotte, Kane, Fancy and Raylan; and his siblings, Jonathan Atkins (Callie) and Chrystal Greene (Chris).
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Estatoe Church of God (3556 Penland Rd, Spruce Pine, NC 28777). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
