It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny Dean Arthur of Stacy, North Carolina, who passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Arthur and Georgia Mae Arthur; and his sister Agatha Arthur Moore. He is survived by: his grandson Finn; his wife Clarice Goodwin Arthur; his sons, Stephen Salter (Melissa) of Royce City, TX, Gerald Salter (Monique) of Stacy, NC, Joshua Arthur (Deidre) of Stacy, NC and Casey Arthur (Julie) of Beaufort, NC; his sister Daphne Arthur Pugh (Mervin) of Odessa, TX; his grandchildren, Kayla Salter and Ryker Salter; and his cousins, Francis Parrish (Robbie) of Davis, NC and Dawna Wetzel.
