He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Franklin and Sara Mae Foust Heilig; and his siblings, Martha Stout, Barbara Jean Hicks, Rebecca "Becky" Kidd, Brenda Smith, W. D., Tommy and Bobby Heilig.
He is survived by: his wife Patti Martin Heilig; his sons, Adam C. Heilig (Christina) of Ramseur and Seth M. Heilig (Mary) of Pine Level; his sister Betty Jo Heilig Frazier of Ramseur; and his grandchildren, Skyler, Hugo, Eli, Gio and Seth Jr.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
