She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Coble and Bessie Amick Coble; and her brother Judge Cornelius Wayne Coble. She is survived by: her husband Herman Ray Gordon; her children, Timmy R. Gordon (Donna) of Staley and Debbie Scotten (Marty) of Staley; her brother Charles Coble of Staley; her grandchildren, Jessica Davis (Taylor), Allison Gordon, Thomas Scotten (Mary) and Lauren Scotten; and her great grandchild Lakelynn Davis.
The lying in state will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Joyce-Brady Chapel (3833 Chatham St, Bennett, NC 27208). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
