He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade York and Louannie Poole York; and his siblings, Lena Mae Holyfield, Clatie Patterson, Lucy York, Maggie Williamson, Jimmie Ray York, Charlie "Sarge" York and Edgar York.
He is survived by: his sons, Frankie York of Liberty and Everette Wade "Bub" York of Franklinville; his sisters, Dorothy Boggs of Liberty and Kathleen Shaw of Staley; and his grandchildren, Kyle, Crystal and Hannah. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
