She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Cowick and Ruby Griffin Cowick; her son David Braswell; and her sister Betty Cranford. She is survived by: her husband Leroy Poole; her children, Tammy Poplin (Wayne) of Stuart, VA and Robert Braswell (Regena) of Waxhaw; her siblings, Buddy Cowick of Goldsboro, Gracie Lang of Conway, SC and Dallie Wright of Wadesboro; her grandchildren, Jessica Roberts (Scott) of Stanfield, Baylie Keziah (Will) of Burlington, Hope Braswell of Waxhaw and Colton Braswell; and her great grandchildren, Mason Roberts of Stanfield and Ava Roberts of Stanfield.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (130 Cedar Grove Church Rd, Polkton, NC 28135).
