He is survived by: his brothers, Charlie Burnette, Marty Burnette, Tommy Rushing (Sherry), Tracy Rushing and Lindy Brooks (Minda); his niece Stephanie Rushing (Brandon); his nephew Quinn Brooks; his great-nieces, Destiny, Rilyn and Cayden; and his great-nephew Branson.
