He is survived by: his wife Betty Baucom Rogers; his children, Carol High of Wadesboro, Robbie Rogers (Jodie) of Wadesboro and Jeff Rogers (Megan) of Wadesboro; his stepsons, Ross Carpenter of Peachland and Randy Carpenter (Rhonda) of Peachland; his grandchildren, Megan Kirby (James) of San Antonio, TX, Scarlett Rogers of Hendersonville, Kassidy High of Wadesboro, Makayla High of Wadesboro, Beverly Eddins of Wadesboro and Michael Rogers of Wadesboro; his great grandchild Maelie Kirby; his stepgrandchildren, Leanne Olive (Bentley) of Apex, Brett Carpenter (Anna) of Raleigh and Brandi Ross (Matt) of Peachland; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Eliza, Evelyn, Lydia, Lyla and Rylee; his sisters, Margaret Rogers of Wadesboro and Mary Alice Rogers of Wadesboro; and his nieces and nephews, Billie Jo Rogers of Yadkinville and Eddie Rogers of Myrtle Beach.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the North Wadesboro Baptist Church (1211 N Greene St, Wadesboro, NC 28170). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
