He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Ellison and Mattie Pearl Helms Morgan; his wife Brenda Kay Love Morgan; his son-in-law Allen Linker; and his siblings, Carl Morgan, Vann Morgan, Melvin Morgan, MacKinley Morgan (Mack), Heath Morgan, Gilbert Morgan, Floyd Morgan (Junior), Harold Morgan, Jane Morgan Johnson, Francis Ann Morgan and Kinza Caroline Morgan.

He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Griffin (Mike) of Stanfield and Talisa Linker of Locust; his grandchildren, Emily Griffin Douglas (Brandon), Jerrika Linker Mullinix (Matthew), Brooke Griffin Hartsell (Jacob) and Nadalee Linker; his great grandchildren, Addilyn Mae Hartsell, Ellis Claire Mullinix, Taryn Hensley Douglas, Robert Tate Douglas, Tripp Allen Mullinix and Jace Michael Hartsell; and his sister Patricia Morgan Furr.
