She was predeceased by: her parents, William Madison Pigg and Lela Dana Sherrill; her husband Lester Leon Schmidt (Les); and her sisters, Francis Brown, Sally Knapp and Dona Dannelley.
She is survived by: her sons, Mitch Schmidt (LuAnne), Scott Schmidt (Wendy) and Andy Schmidt (Nichole); her grandchildren, Alex Schmidt, Lauren Ridenour (Billy), Dr. Jarrett Schmidt, John Michael Schmidt (Hannah), Viginia Schmidt and Noah Schmidt; and her brother-in-law Jess Schmidt (June). She is also survived by four great grandchildren; cherished nieces and nephews.
