It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlie Rich (Stanley, North Carolina), who passed away on March 14, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Murphy Rich and Carrie Wheeler Rich; and his siblings, Pat Baxley, Bobby Rich and Bill Rich.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Crisp Rich; his children, Tim Rich (Tara) of Gastonia and Carrie Rich Foxx (Jeff) of Conover; his granddaughters, Murphy, Caroline, Mary Kate, Madi and Merida; and his siblings, Tommy Rich of San Franscisco, CA and Linda Mundy of Pine Mtn.
