He was predeceased by: his parents, James Clyde Gladden and Lucille Chaney Gladden; and his son Michael Eugene Gladden. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Simmons Gladden; his sister-in-law Sara Broome (Stan); his nephew Darren Broome (Beth); and his goddaughter Crystal Cooper (Dale).
