He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Malone Sherill. He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Sanchez, Patricia Wilkinson, Sheryl Davis, Tina Kasper, Kimberly Kasper and Christina Kasper. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Carothers Funeral Home (412 S Main St, Stanley, NC 28164). A committal service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 3:15 PM to 3:45 PM at 1508 Charles Raper Jonas Hwy, Mt Holly, NC 28120.
