She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Leroy Lineberger and Lena Beatrice Setzer Jones; her stepfather Beverly Lee Jones; her brother Richard Clarence Lineberger; her daughter-in-law Michele Jeanette Barabas Barnes; and her grandson Steven Christopher Barnes.
She is survived by: her husband Ed Barnes; and her sons, Steve Barnes (Dianne) of Stanley, NC, Mike Barnes (Jay) of Summerville, SC, Bobby Barnes (Laura) of Denver, NC and Joey Barnes (Rebecca) of Shelby, NC. She is also survived by ten grandsons; and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel (125 Dave Warlick Dr, Lincolnton, NC 28092). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
