He was predeceased by: his parents, Zed Mashburn and Grace Mashburn; and his daughter Donna Marie Mashburn. He is survived by: his wife Nellie Falkner Mashburn; his children, Kevin Gilbert Mashburn and Pamela Grace Mashburn; his sisters, Gail Jones, Melanie Bishop, Betty Goodson and Jennie Jenkins; and his close friend Ricky House. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
