She is survived by: her sister Sue Connor of Denver, NC; her daughters, Cynthia Hester Buchanan (David) of Belmont, NC and Kathy Hester Ward (Ben) of Norfolk, VA; and her grandchildren, BJ, Jeff, Taylor and Alyssa.
