He is survived by: his son Jody Ryan Chapman; his daughter-in-law Amanda Sue Wickersham Chapman; his grandchildren, Liliana Sue Chapman Beaver (Jordan Keith Beaver) and Cody Daniel Chapman (Lauren Overton Loveday); and his siblings, Rev. Phil Chapman, Nancy Chapman Faulk, Daniel Chapman, Anne Chapman Warren, Guy Chapman and Kathy Sue Chapman Lail.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Catawba Heights Baptist Church (311 Belmont Mt Holly Rd, Belmont, NC 28012). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 22nd 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
