It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Lucas in Stanley, North Carolina, who passed away on March 28, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Marion and Ada Lucina Moore Morgan; her husband Gary Lucas; her son Joe Hendrix; and her brother Junior Morgan.

She is survived by: her sons, Lenny Hendrix of Maiden and DJ Hendrix (Emily); her grandchildren, Todd Hendrix (Samantha), Whitney Jordan (Jonathan), Ada Hendrix, Jade Hendrix and Spenser Hendrix; her siblings, Herman Morgan, Ricky Morgan and Patsy Morgan; her nephew Travis Morgan; and her daughter-in-law Kimberly Russell (Fred). She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
